For the thirtieth anniversary of 9093 Kettle, which is already become one of Alessi’s historical products, Michael Graves designs again the whistle and transforms it in a little prehistorical reptile: in this way, TEA REX is born, the new version of 9093 kettle. Michael Graves created 9093 in 1985, exclusively for Alessi. At that time, the whistle was bird-shaped whereas it is shaped like a precious dragon in the new version. Dragons are a symbol of strength and fortune in Chinese culture. On the kettle lid, it is engraved “Tea Rex 9093 30th anniversary”. Entirely made of polished stainless steel with handle in PA and whistle in brass-finished PA, 9093 kettle can be used even with induction cooking. It is perfect as a gift idea and it is here proposed with black handle.
